RMA1/BEA21 (Back on the road, well nearly)
22nd November 2006

RMA1 first licenced in 1966 as BEA21 was one of 65 Routemasters built for British European Airways for the service to Heathrow Airport from Cromwell road.
This example lasted until 1975 before being sold to LT for further use in London.
Used in passenger service in 1975 on route 175 from North Street garage.
LT sold it on in 1985 after it had spent time in use as a staff bus.

A trip up to Marshalls of Cambridge then to see this bus heading off to its new home alongside RMC4 & RML2508.
Many thanks to Steve & Kevin for inviting me along today.
